
Uganda invites EOI for Design Review and Construction Supervision of Water Supply Systems
The SACRiAC project is part of the Government of Uganda’s National Development Plan (NDP), Uganda Climate Change Policy and long-term development strategy. The project aims to promote climate change adaptation measures to mitigate negative impacts on Uganda’s economy.
According to the Notice posted on the African Development Bank website, the scope of the consultancy services involves undertaking the Design Review and Supervision of 6 Water Supply Systems and 10 Valley Tanks.
The Consultant will be required to undertake the Design Review and Construction Supervision of Climate resilient infrastructural development (civil works) through:
- prudent contracts management ensuring conformity and compliance to design specifications, design modifications, quality control and assurance, adherence to the Environmental and Social safeguard policies and requirements; and
- performance monitoring for the infrastructure during defects period.
The Design Review and Construction Supervision consultancy is expected to be carried out within a 40-month period from commencement.
Procurement (eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure) will be conducted in line with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group-Funded Operations dated October 2015.
