TradeMark Africa issues consultancy RFP for Berbera Corridor management
TradeMark Africa has requested proposals to provide consultancy services to facilitate the Berbera Corridor management project.
The Berbera Corridor is a flagship project for Somaliland connecting land-locked Ethiopia to the Berbera Port as an alternative to Djibouti and other ports.
The consultant will be required to provide strategic support for the Ethiopian government and Somaliland authorities to initiate a negotiation process to put in place a Berbera Corridor management arrangement, as well as providing support for the management of the Berbera Corridor.
The consulting firm will be engaged on a contract basis for one year through TradeMark Africa, and the contract may be extended.
Firms should have 15+ years of trade, trade facilitation and transport sector experience.
USAID is supporting the project.
