Tanzania tenders airport terminal contract

Tanzania Roads Agency (TANROADS) is inviting bids for the construction of a passenger terminal building as part of the rehabilitation and upgrade of Iringa Airport.

The project is being supported with finance from the World Bank.

The tender is offered as a One Stage - Two Envelope Bidding Process. 

The scope of work includes airside and landside construction. The estimated quantities for major works items are earthworks 25,000m3, RCC work 6,200m3, profiled roofing 2,900m3.

Bidders should have completed at least two similar contracts in the past 10 years with a minimum value of US$7 million and have an average annual turnover of US$18 million for the past five years.

Work must be completed within 18 months including three months for mobilisation.

Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office below between 08h00 and 16h30 from Monday to Friday inclusive, except on public holidays.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10h00 on 15 September 2023. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. 

A combined site visit and pre-bid meeting will be held on 31 July 2023, at 09h00
