
Tanzania invites Tenders for Integration of 33kV Distribution Networks to the Main Grid
Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO), through the African Development Bank, has advertised an invitation to tender for Integration of the Existing Kigoma -Kasulu 33kV Distribution Networks to the Main Grid LV Lines and installation of MV/LV Distribution Transformers in Kigoma Region.
According to the Tender Notice posted on the African Development Bank website, the scope of work includes:
- Integration of Existing Kigoma - Kasulu 33kV Distribution Networks to the Main Grid, LV Lines including MV/LV Distribution Transformers in Kigoma region. In addition, the low voltage lines will also include the supply and installation of all necessary equipment and materials to ensure the connection to estimated 5,000 customers and 7,500 ready boards for Kigoma region.
- Modifying and Connecting Kigoma and Kasulu Existing Stations.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Tendering Procedures specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Tanzanian Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
Tender submissions will be online through the Tanzania National Electronic Procurement System (TANePS) at http://www.taneps.go.tz/.
