
South Korean firm wins Kenya road consultancy contract
South Korea's Kyoung Dong Construction has been awarded a US$2.08 million consultancy contract for the construction supervision of the 57km Wajir Tarbaj and the 64km Tarbaj Kotulo road sections in Kenya and the civil works associated with installing a fiber optic cable.
The contract period is 58 months.
The contract is under the Horn of Africa Gateway Development project in Kenya, funded by the World Bank.
