Senegal invites bids for drainage and road works
Senegal’s Municipal Development Agency is inviting bids for the construction of drainage, basin and road works in the Mbeubeus watershed area.
The project is divided into two lots as follows:
- Lot 1: The districts of Cité gendarmerie, Cité Mimran, Khar Yalla, Alkhamdoulilah, Médinatoul, Médina Gana Sarr, Ndiaye Ndiorane, Nimzat Sant Yalla
- Lot 2: Ndiaye Ndiorane, Nimzat Sant Yalla, Tivaouane Peul and discharge at sea.
Lot 1 includes 33,000m3 of earthworks of which at least 20,000m3 is in the presence of groundwater; linear rainwater drainage structure of at least 5km, with a minimum width of 4m; and urban cobblestone roads, representing at least 44,000m2 of paving.
Lot 2 includes 263,000m3 earthworks of which at least 150,000m3 is in the presence of groundwater; linear rainwater drainage structure of at least 4.5km of pipe with a minimum width of 2m; urban cobblestone roads, representing at least 40,000m2 of paving and gravity discharge outfall.
The proposed duration for the construction works is 14 months for Lot 1 and 16 months for Lot 2 from the date of notification of the start-up service order.
A preparatory meeting and site visit will take place at the address below on 27 September August at 09h30 GMT.
The World Bank is financing this project.
Proposals must be physically delivered to the address provided by 10h00 on 18 October 2023.
