Rwanda seeks consultants for two road upgrades
Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) has invited expressions of interest (EOIs) from consultants for two contracts to supervise road construction projects.
Both projects fall under the EAC: Multinational (Rwanda/Burundi) Cross Border Roads Upgrade Project, which is supported by the African Development Bank.
The first consultancy contract is to supervise the 51km upgrade of the Sashwara-Muhato Road and related social infrastructures.
The works include three sections:
1. Sashwara-Kabuhanga (17.1km)
2. Kabuhanga-Bugarama-Kiraro (10.8km)
3. Kabuhanga-Busasamana-Cyanzarwe-Muhato (22.4km) and related social infrastructures.
The consultant will supervise the 36-month construction period and the 18-month defects liability period.
EOIs must be delivered to the address below by 5th July 2023 at 17h00 Kigali Time.

The second contract is to supervise the upgrade of the Nyagisozi-Remera-Nshili border road (18km) and related social infrastructures.
The works includes two sections:
1. Nyagisozi-Giswi Junction (10.74km)
2. Gatunda-Remera-Bitare/Nshili Border (7.26km) and related social infrastructures.
The consultant will supervise the 24-month construction period and the 18-month defects liability period.
The deadline for EOIs is also 5th July 2023 at 17h00 Kigali Time, and the submissions address is as above.
