
Proposals invited for South Africa solar project
Marula Platinum is inviting proposals for the development and construction of a 33MW solar power plant to supply its Mandagshoek mine in South Africa.
The scope of the project includes associated connection infrastructure and another 20MW of capacity plus storage.
The tender is open to bidders who have a minimum of 30% black ownership, and experience of at least three utility scale (>10MW) photovoltaic solar projects in South Africa or comparable geographies that are currently operational.
The deadline for submissions is 26 June.
All interested parties are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving the request for proposal document.
