
Malawi looks for consultants for college building work
Malawi’s Ministry of Education has invited expressions from consultants for two construction projects.
The first project is to provide architectural and engineering design and construction supervision services for new building structures at Livingstonia and Mzuzu technical colleges.
The proposed construction works to be undertaken at the two technical colleges are as follows:
• Livingstonia Technical College: 80-bed girls’ hostel, 4-room classroom block, and 2 workshops
• Mzuzu Technical College: 2-storey building

The second project is to provide architectural and engineering design and construction supervision services for new building structures at the Namitete and Salima technical colleges.
The proposed construction works to be undertaken at the two technical colleges are as follows:
• 2-storey building and renovation of general fitting workshop
• 100 bed girls’ hostel and poultry kraal with offices

Both projects are being supported by the World Bank.
Consultants should have experience of conducting similar projects. They may associate with other firms to enhance qualifications, either as a joint venture or a sub-consultancy, with joint liability if selected.
For both projects, expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below in person or by email by 11 August 2023 at 16h00 CAT.
