Lesotho’s Ministry of Natural Resources’ Department of Water has invited expressions of interest (EOIs), through the African Development Bank (AfDB), for the design and construction supervision of a faecal sludge management (FSM) unit.

Consultants have until 15h00 on 14 June 2023 to show their interest.

The construction of the FSM unit, which will serve the Butha Buthe district, forms part of the third phase of the Lesotho Lowlands Water and Sanitation Development Project and is being supported with financing from AfDB.

The successful consultant will be required to undertake preparatory and feasibility studies; detailed fieldwork investigations and preliminary designs; detailed site investigations and detailed engineering design; and construction supervision.

The consultant should have conducted similar projects in the past five years.

The consultancy services will be carried out over a period of 18 months.
