
Guinea invites prequalification for two training centres
Guinea’s Ministry Of Technical Education, Vocational Training And Employment is inviting prequalification applications from contractors to build two regional training schools in Kindia and Mamou.
The project is divided into two lots as follows:
- Lot 1: Construction work for a training school for buildings/public works in the Kindia region.
- Lot 2: Construction work for a training school for trades associated with agricultural development in the Mamou region.
The infrastructure includes an administrative block, two educational blocks with a capacity of 400 students, eight workshops, one amphitheatre, one library block with multimedia center, a refectory, accommodation including two villas and 16 apartments for supervisors, a general store, an infirmary, changing rooms, relaxation area, games area and parking. The projects also include road work to connect the water, electricity and telephone networks.
The expected duration of each lot is 16 months.
The Islamic Development Bank is supporting the project.
