
Ghana seeks consultants for sanitation masterplan
The government of Ghana, through the World Bank, has invited expressions of interest from consultants to prepare a sanitation masterplan for the Kumasi Metropolitan Area.
The deadline for submissions is 25 May.
The work will include two main tasks:
(1) an assessment of existing conditions for sanitation;
(2) development, through a participatory process, of the master plan, and associated strategic action plan.
The plan should set out interventions to be taken in the short, medium, and long term to prioritise and phase investments/implementation, including but not limited to the technical, financial, institutional, regulatory, social and land use of the study area.
It is envisaged that the following key staff would be required for the assignment: Team Leader; Sanitation Engineer Social Development Expert; Economist/Finance Analyst and Development Planner. It is estimated that the assignment shall be for a period of approximately 60 weeks.

Interested consultants should have experience of at least two similar assignments.
