Ghana seeks consultant for e-waste project

Ghana’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has invited expressions of interest from consultants to prepare detailed designs, cost estimates and construction supervision for the development of e-waste collection, dismantling, and holding centres in Ghana.

The assignment will cover the following sites:

  • Tema Metro Sites, Tamale, Northern region
  • Tamale Township, Tamale, Northern region
  • Sunyani (UENR), Sunyani, Brong Ahafo
  • Ada, Ada West–Sege, Greater Accra
  • Apedwa, Suhum, Eastern region
  • GAEC, Ga East, Greater Accra

The project is estimated to take 34 weeks, starting in November 2023.

The consultant must have at least five years of experience in conducting comprehensive structural designs for multipurpose commercial buildings or structures for special use. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications.

The World Bank is funding this project.

Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written and printed form in person by 13h00 (GMT) on 19 September 2023.
