
Ethiopia invites further bids for power distribution projects
Ethiopian Electric Utility is inviting bids for the design finalisation, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a medium voltage distribution system in seven towns.
The project is divided into two lots as follows:
- Lot 1: Bishoftu ,Sululta and Debrebirhan
- Lot 2: Asela, Dilla, Hosaena, and Jigjiga
The World Bank is funding the project.
Bidders should have at least seven years of experience in power distribution network projects in the role of contractor, subcontractor, or management contractor, including two projects of US$11 million in the past five years, and an average annual turnover of US$10 million for the last five years.
Interested firms can obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents between 08h00 and 17h00 from Monday to Friday and 08h00 to 12h00 on Saturdays.
Proposals must be physically delivered by 14h00 (local time) on 16 October 2023.
Electronic submissions will not be accepted.
