Chinese firm wins €18.8 million road contract in Senegal
China Road & Bridge Corporation has been awarded a €18.8 million contract to improve and asphalt the 48km Mbirkilane-Mabo-Sinthiou Wanar-Touba Saloum road in Senegal.
The works include the Mbirkilane-Djamal ramp.
The project is part of the wider Enhancing Connectivity in the Northern and Central Agricultural Production Areas of Senegal programme and represents Lot 1a.
The contract period is 20 months.
The World Bank is supporting the project.
