
Burkina Faso seeks consultant for solar plant evacuation lines
Burkina Faso’s Ministry of Energy is inviting engineering consulting firms to express interest in supervising the construction of evacuation lines from solar power plants.
The consulting services will cover three components:
a) Power plant connections
b) Network reinforcement
c) Grid energy storage batteries.
The proposed timeline is as follows:
(i) Phase 1: Assistance to the PMU for the procurement of the network battery contract (5 months)
(ii) Phase 2: Control and supervision of works and assistance during the warranty period (three years including twelve for the warranty period).
Prospective consultants must have carried out over the last 10 years at least two similar projects with a minimum value of US$ 2 million.
The International Development Association and the Clean Technology Fund are funding the project.
Interested consultants can obtain additional information during office hours, 9h00 to 15h30, Monday to Friday. Expressions of interest must be submitted by 30 August 2023 at 09h00 to the address below.
