Ageroute Senegal invites bids for 26.4km road project

Ageroute Senegal has invited bids to develop and asphalt the Sandiniéri-Tanaff-Guinea Bissau Border Road, which runs for a total of 26.4 kilometres.

The Sandiniéri-Tanaff-Guinea Bissau Border Road comprises three sections:
Section 1: Sandiniéri-Banière (14.5km)
Section 2: Banière-Tanaff (0.5km)
Section 3: Tanaff-Border (11.4km)

The three sections are being tendered as one lot.

In addition to the main road works, the development of 5km of roads connecting with a high school, fishing wharf, hospital and other amenities are planned.

The execution period is 17 months.

According to the call for bids, which was issued through the African Development Bank, the tenderer must have carried out as a main contractor, member of a consortium or subcontractor a minimum of three contracts for the construction or rehabilitation of roads with bituminous surface (aside from maintenance works) in the past five years, with a minimum value of CFA francs 15 billion per project.
