Tanzania Looks To Mobilise Water Sector Investment
Tanzania Water Investment Programme is expected to cost US$15.2 billion.
Tanzania’s Vice-President Philip Mpango has called for the international community’s help in implementing the US$15.2 billion Tanzania Water Investment Programme (TanWIP).
Speaking during the UN General Assembly summit in New York in mid-September, Mpango said the Tanzanian government has committed to provide 43% (US$6.45 billion) of the cost of the investment programme, which was announced
