Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) has retendered the construction of the Malagarasi hydropower plant in Western Tanzania. A retender notice was issued on 26 May, through the African Development Bank (AfDB), inviting companies to bid for the plant design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the 49.5MW hydropower plant.
