Proparco Grants US$1.6 Million For Chad Electrification
The loan will support the development of mini grids.
French Development Agency subsidiary Proparco has granted a €1.5 million (US$1.6 million) loan to Chad’s ZIZ Energie, which specialises in decentralised rural and urban electrification schemes.
Signed on 10 October, the funding will enable ZIZ Energie to build and operate mini grids in secondary towns of the Central African country.
