Kempinski constructing new waterfront hotel in Brazzaville, Congo
The Kempinski hotel chain is developing a newbuild lifestyle hotel in Brazzaville the capital of Congo where guestrooms overlook the river through a glass-filled façade.
Construction works for the new hotel are being undertaken by MBTP, a local Congo-Brazzaville based contractor. Dewan Architects is the architectural design consultant for the project, and Intercon are the interior designers.

The marina-fronting Kempinski Hotel Brazzaville development is located on the banks of the majestic Congo river. The hotel will house 225 guestrooms and suites with warm contemporary interiors and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening out onto overhanging balconies.
The hotel’s layout is designed to maximise the waterfront experience, helped by the inclusion of a lower podium adjoining the hotel’s main building that overlooks the marina. This podium will house various leisure facilities, including a health club with gym, a spa, outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts. The hotel will also feature a dedicated conference centre, a kids’ club, and food and drink outlets that are set on the riverfront and surrounded by landscaped gardens.

The hotel will have a built-up floor area of 38,000m2, with a height of 62.69 metres.
The 5-star Kempinski Hotel Brazzaville is expected to reach completion in the second quarter of 2022.
