Italian / Somali JV awarded Consultancy contract for 2 road projects in Somalia
A joint venture between Italian firm AIC PROGETTI Spa and Somali firm DESCON Architectural and Engineering has been awarded engineering consultancy contracts on 2 road projects in Somalia.
The Somali Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction & Housing awarded the consultancy contracts for preliminary, detailed engineering design and preparation of bid documents on the road projects to the JV.
The projects are:
Lot 1 - 82km stretch of the existing Beledweyne-Galkayo road / 60km Dhusamareb-Qaradhi / 22km BeledWeyne-Kalabeyr; and
Lot 2 - 85km stretch
