Green Cement Deal Inked In Kenya
Geothermal energy will be supplied to Karsan Ramji and Sons.
Kenya’s Geothermal Development Company (GDC) has signed a steam supply agreement with the local Karsan Ramji and Sons, which will enable the firm to begin producing cement using green energy.
GDC will supply 40 tonnes per hour of steam from the Menengai geothermal project for power generation and thermal energy.
