Commercial and industrial projects dominated Africa's solar market last year.
Some 3.7GW of new solar capacity was brought online across Africa during 2023, according to the annual solar outlook published by the Africa Solar Industry Association (AFSIA) on 19 January.In contrast to the rest of the world where utility-led projects dominated the market, 65% of the capacity added in Africa
