AfDB Approves Grant For Mozambique Transmission Line
The US$33 million grant will fund the Songo-Matambo transmission project.
The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a US$33.3 million grant to Mozambique to implement the Songo-Matambo electricity transmission line project in the Tete province in west-central Mozambique.
The province is located in the Zambezi Valley Development Corridor in the border area with Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
