Sierra Leone launches construction of US$270m new airport terminal
The President of Sierra Leone, Dr Julius Maada Bio, has launched the commencement of construction work on a new airport terminal project at the Freetown International Airport, Lungi.
The new terminal project will accommodate one million passengers per year and provide 2000 direct jobs for Sierra Leoneans in the construction phase. The project is estimated to cost US$270 million, and is being undertaken as a Build Operate Transfer project under the supervision of the Office of the Presidential
